Cyanotype Prints at The Magic Bean Farm

Join Sarah Graves of The Magic Bean Farm at their first on-farm workshop of the season for this special collaboration with local artist, Hannah Carpenter Pitkin.

Hannah will teach us the basics of Cyanotype printing, a camera-less photography process that creates stunning, Prussian blue prints. During this workshop, makers will create cyanotype prints on watercolor paper using florals and plant materials from the farm. Participants may also bring white cloth made from 100% natural fibers to experiment with, as well as digital negatives (click here for instructions). Makers will also get the opportunity to tour the grounds and take home a bouquet of our favorite spring blooms.
